The UK has accused Russian hackers for carrying out cyber-attacks on corona vaccine research centers in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Russia’s APT29 group has been identified by cybersecurity agencies to have compromised the high security targets. These Russian espionage group are called as `The Dukes’ (AKA APT29 and Cozy Bear). The UK National Cyber Security has issued a warning to such malpractices too.
It alleges cyber-attacks on government, diplomatic, intellectual and healthcare departments and attempts to hijack important intellectual information. Reports are speculated that the Cozy Bear, which is affiliated to the Russian intelligent service has been in the suspected involvement in the breach of Democratic National Committee information during the 2016 U.S. election. But, for the first time it came to light that these fraudulent agencies have been developing new implants to steal data regarding the covid-19 vaccine.
Russia’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has commented on allegations of cyber-attacks. He asserted Russia had nothing to do with the attacks. “We do not know who carried out the cyber attack on covid- 19 research centers and pharma companies in the UK.”
American scientists who have been developing Covid-19 vaccine have revealed that good results are coming as anticipated without much side effects. Currently it’s in the final testing process, which will begin from July 27 and would be carried out on 30,000 people.
