Police have arrested three youngsters who attacked an SI in Vizianagaram district. The incident took place at Khadgavalasa village in the Garugubilli zone of the Vijayanagaram district.
Pachipenta SI Ramana told two young men who were speeding on a bike in a crowded place to lower their bike speed. The enraged youth got into a fight with SI and attacked him.
The shirt of the SI was torn and he was attacked by them. On the occasion of the Sankranthi festival, SI went on leave to his mother-in-law, and on his way back to Pachipenta, he instructed the youths who were driving recklessly.
Meanwhile, the locals handed them over to the police. Khadgavalasa police registered a case and arrested the youth following a complaint lodged by SI.
