After the approval for CBI probe in Sushanth Singh Rajput’s case from the Supreme Court, it has ordered Mumbai to hand over the investigation details to CBI, who are going to form a special investigation team (SIT).
The court has also observed that Bihar government’s FIR was correct in the case. Now the latest reports of the case state that two SPs, where one of them, Anil Yadav would join the investigating team in Mumbai.The team is likely to be segregated into two groups, which will be helmed by these two SPs. While one team will be assessing the the Mumbai police’s probe details and the other team will be monitoring the forensic examinations and autopsy of sushanth.
Reportedly the agency team will be spearheaded by CBI’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Nupur Prasad. It states that the S.I.T team has initially held a high level meeting last night after reaching Mumbai that lasted for 4-long hours.
Report also hints that the SIT team will collate all the evidence, statements and analyze the seized electronic gadgets of the prime suspects too. Subsequently they will be recreating the crime scene at Sushant’s residence today to determine for any foul play.
