TSRTC employees have finally called off the long strike and buses will come on to the roads across Telangana from today.
With the primary demand being the merger of TSRTC in government, the RTC workers conducted a protest for the past 52 days. Though KCR has given two deadlines in the past, to rejoin their duties, not many turned back. Aggrieved over it, the TS CM has stopped giving any concern to the workers, apart from considering any of their demands.
As there is no move from the government, the workers lost all the hope and finally announced to rejoin the duties recently. But even then, neither RTC management nor the government has responded to it, nor allowed them to rejoin.

Finally, the TSRTC employees called off the strike now and are awaiting to rejoin the duties. They claimed it as a moral victory and asked the public not to consider it as their defeat. Meanwhile, the RTC management, called the workers strike as illegal.
It seems, neither KCR nor RTC management is in a mood to take back the employees into the duties. Especially the dynamic CM seems to be committed to his warning, which he gave to the workers in the past, that they would be self terminated from their services, if they fail to join the duties, within the deadline. TSRTC workers, who neglected all such deadlines and were holding the strike all these days, seem to be in an embarrassing situation now.
