Demanding to merge TSRTC into government, the employees of the corporation have been holding the protest for about 50 days. But Telangana Chief Minister KCR has not given any positive response. Instead, he imposed two deadlines for the employees to rejoin their duties, but not many turned back, even after the CM said that he is not going to consider them again, after the deadline.
But finally, as KCR is going strict with TSRTC and is planning alternate ways, it is known that the TSRTC employees has announced to call off the strike, if CM allows for the rejoining. They even approached bus depots in this regard, but the officials stopped all the workers, right at the gates, saying that they haven’t received any instructions from the state government.

Having seen the situation, it seems, KCR is not at all in a mood to step down and allow them to rejoin their duties. Adding to it, as announced before, he is also planning to privatize the TSRTC by allowing private buses and drivers in several routes across the state.
So the TSRTC is currently in a deep trouble and has every chance to face a tight jolt from the state government very soon. It seems, the corporation has thus resorted to the self destruction, by striking against the TRS government.
