In a shocking decision, Telangana Chief Minister KCR had dismissed over 48000 TSRTC employees, after they failed to get back to their duties, within the deadline imposed by him.
While KCR claimed that he did not dismiss them, but they themselves opted out of the jobs, the harsh dismissal is now troubling a few of the TSRTC employees, who are purely dependent on the job.
Sheik Khaleel Mia, a 48-year old TSRTC driver, working at HCU depot, is a resident of Sangareddy district’s Ramachandrapuram. He was one among those who ignored KCR’s warning and thus continued to participate in the strike.

But as his only source of living was his job, he fell into the deep depression over losing it and thus died of a heart attack. A similar incident took place in another TSRTC employee’s life. Komaraiah, who had been working for Chengicherla depot, died of a sudden heart stroke. The 57-year-old man could not digest his sudden dismissal from the job.
Aggrieved over it, the Telangana Jathiya Mazdoor Union (TJMU) demanded justice to the families of the deceased. It seems, some serious troubles are ahead for KCR if he continues to ignore the RTC employees. Meanwhile, the TSRTC strike is still on and also a state bundh is being planned on 19th of this month.
