Three fans of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan were electrocuted to death and three others succumbed injures while erecting a flexi banner of 40 feet height on the ocassion of pawankalyan’s birthday.
It is learnt that the victims came in contact with a live wire beside them. The unfortunate incident occurred at Shantipuram area of Kuppam constituency in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh today morning.
The deceased were identified as Somasekhar (30), Rajendra (32), and Arunachalam (28), as per the Jana Sena Party press report.

Pawan Kalyan expressed his deepest condolences and urged Janasena Party members to provide with immediate financial aid to the bereaved families of Rs 2 lakhs each. On the other hand, upon knowing about the demise of Pawan Kalyan’s fans, the makers of Vakeel Saab including Boney Kapoor announced 2 lakh each.
Anguished by the ill fated incident, the makers stated, “With heavy hearts, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the three fans who unfortunately lost their lives. We, along with millions of others, express our solidarity to their families in this hour of grief. We come forward to announce a financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured. We also request all fans to value their lives and be safe.”
Also other Tollywood fraternity like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and PSPK#27 makers too expressed that they were saddened to hear about the unfortunate incident and wished for a speedy recovery to the injured.
Both the actor and Mega Surya production makers extended support with an ex gratia amount of 2 lakhs, while Ram Charan contributed 2.5 lakhs each to the family of deceased.
