The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to look into the question paper leak of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has begun to probe three accused in the case on Wednesday. The three include Shameem, Damera Ramesh Kumar and N Suresh, who have been taken into custody. While Shameem and Ramesh are employees of the TSPSC, Suresh is a former outsourcing employee. The three were arrested on march 23rd, after the police found that they had obtained the question paper of Group 1 prelims from the primary accused.
Prior to these three, four more were probed by the SIT, which includes Lavdyavath Dhakya and Rajeshwar Nayak, who were probed for three days. So far, a total of 15 people have been arrested in case.
The TSPSC exam paper leakage has caused major headlines across the state, and came to light on March 12th, following which 15 were accused and arrested. As a result, the Group 1 preliminary examination, Assistant Engineers, AEE, and DAO exams have all been postponed. The exams for Town Planning and Building Overseer and Veterinary Assistant Surgeon have also been postponed because of this.
