In the middle of many controversies, The Kerala Story movie hit the theatres and is being watched widely. The controversies actually turned in the favour of the movie.
The movie went on to collect a huge amount of 156 crores. The movie managed to secure the second place in the domestic market for the year 2023 in Bollywood after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan which collected over 540 crores followed by Ranbir-Shraddha’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with 144 crores and Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan with 110 crores.
The movie is sure to surpass the 200 crore mark in another week which is a great feat without any big stars.
Adah Sharma played the lead role and is being applauded for her performance along with the other girls. The movie is directed by Sudipto Sen.
