Thalapathy Vijay’s most-anticipated film, Beast is all set to hit the screens on April 13. Ahead of the grand release, which is over a week away, the makers suffered a huge blow as the Kuwait government banned the release of Beast.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the hostage thriller shows visuals of Islamic terrorism. As per reports, there is a scene in which Vijay abducts Pakistan Prime Minister. Considering these scenes, the government decided to ban the film. Earlier, Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup and Vishnu Vishal’s FIR were also banned.
Some reports suggest that movies that show Arab countries as the home of terrorists do not get clearance in Kuwait. However, Beast has been given the approval to be released in the UAE and other Arab countries.
Beast is produced on a massive scale by Sun Pictures. The movie stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead while Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko and Yogi Babu will be seen in key roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
