Speaking with a media outlet, Vijayendra Prasad, the screenwriter of RRR hinted that the film has the potential to make for a sequel. He even said RRR unit is contemplating the idea of a sequel.
Now, Jr NTR too has hinted that RRR might be made into a film franchise or at least a sequel.
“RRR has universal content and it has the potential to be made into a franchise. The film is a box office blockbuster and we can expect the sequel or the subsequent parts to be equally big hits. More importantly, the character arcs and presentation is so potent and novel that a sequel will make for an even better viewing than the first part,” NTR said in his interaction with an English portal.
Both Vijayendra Prasad and NTR have now hinted at a possible sequel or even a franchise for RRR.
