As corona is booming in India, police are receiving information that some of the Maoists are suffering from corona and difficulty in breathing. On learning this, the police promised Maoists to provide medical care and financial security if they leave the party.
About 70 to 100 Maoists have been reported to have infected with a corona in Dantewada, Bijapur, and Sukma districts in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. However, police sources also confirmed this. They appear to be suffering from other health problems as well.
Dantewada SP Abhishek Pallav assured the Maoists that the government would provide good medical treatment to all the Maoists suffering from Covid if they come out of the party. On the other hand, it seems that some of the Maoists have been dead due to Covid. Videos related to the funeral of the deceased went viral on social media.
