The Central government has decided to transfer the certain funds that it obtained from the overall taxes to all the state governments. This year the center is going to transfer Rs. 46,038 collectively. This process takes place in April Month every year and now it is a very useful amount for the state governments in this crisis period.
Already the center has released 17,000 crore rupees in the form of Disaster Response Mitigation Fund. Yet, the Telugu states are very disappointed about the amount they are going to get from the center. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will receive the funds 1,000 crore rupees less than the actual amount.
From the last 40 days, there has been no revenue generated to the center and they have suffered a loss of Rs.1,50,000 crores. So, 29% of the amount from taxes has been deducted to both Telugu states, For Telangana Rs.982 crores is being sent instead of Rs.1195 crores. Andhra Pradesh has to receive Rs. 2686 crores but the AP government will get only Rs.1,892 crores.
Along with this loss, both governments have already lost Rs.3,000 crores due to the prohibition on liquor sales.
