The Telangana government has been collecting the information regarding all the non-agricultural assets of every single person in the state.
This has upset a lot of people, after which the High Court of Telangana even issued a stay order on the registration of non-agricultural assets on Dharani portal.
Now, regardless of the HC’s verdict, the government continues to gather information in the new method, while trying to cover it up as a new one.
Booking a slot on the Dharani portal has become a huge task for many, as the slots are being booked immediately, and the availability of a slot has become scarce. This is reportedly turning out to be a major problem for many people.
All those who have been to the Sub-Registrar’s office for registration have all turned back, after looking at the procedure, and the software with the help of which they have to register, as the software is reportedly very complex.
Protests are being done at many places, due to the lack of proper boundaries in the regulations of the registration process.
Following such extensive chaos, Chief Minister KCR is said to have set up a cabinet sub-committee, which is expected to look into these issues, as there has been a widespread backlash from the general public.
Officials of this committee are expected to come up with a solution, after discussing the issues with builders, real estate traders and other groups.
Changes are expected to be made to the process as soon as the committee submits a reports, so that there is no more public disdain.
