Previously Sunny Singh had hinted his fans to be ready for a surprise up his sleeve. It is expected as some good film by everyone. But as the news was confirmed a week ago for being part of pan india film, ‘Adipurush’, it really intrigued his fans.
Actor Sunny Singh is essaying the role of Lakshman in ‘Adipurush’, the creative Bollywood interpretation of the ‘Ramayan’. He says he is exhilarated to play a mythological character for the first time as he was involved mostly in commercial films so far.
The film stars Prabhas as Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. Sunny is working with this star studded ensemble cast for the very first time in this debut regional movie.
Since the film is multilingual, his shoot rehearsals in Telugu language seem to be a new experience.
“To play the character of Lakshman on the big screen is going to be a very different experience for me as in the past I haven’t done a role in the mythological/period film genre. My past films have been commercial films but this one is different from all my other films,” he shared.
Sunny has featured in films such as ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and ‘Ujda Chaman’ previously.
