Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Adipurush‘ caught everyone’s attention since its announcement in mid-2020. Directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, the film is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana that revolves around the triumph of good over evil.
For a long time now, the Baahubali actor’s fans have been waiting for the first look from Adipurush. If the buzz is true, the makers are prepping to unveil the first look of Prabhas as Lord Ram on the occasion of Shri Rama Navami on April 21.
The film will also feature Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, the demon King Ravan. While Kriti Sanon is roped in to play Sita, B-town actor Sunny Singh will essay Lakshman in Adipurush.
The Pan-India film, which is high on VFX, is being made on a massive budget of Rs 400 crore. The periodic action-drama film is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
