The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) apprehends two individuals in link with the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
The office reported on Wednesday that it has captured Abdul Basit Parihar from Mumbai’s Bandra. “He had association with Samuel Miranda Miranda who was a housekeeping manager of SSR and was held for getting drugs on directions of Showik Chakraborty, who is the sibling of prime suspect Rhea Chakraborty”, stated NCB officials.
Samuel was hired by Rhea Chakraborty in May last year after replacing the entire old staff. He used to monitor all the household expenses. Rajput’s family has made serious accusations against Miranda in assisting Chakraborty in swindling away with late actor’s money and supplying the drugs through covert medication.
Meanwhile hotelier Gaurav Arya who is suspected to have drug related chat with Rhea is currently under investigation by NCB.
The NCB arrested even Zaid Vilatra from Mumbai in link with the case. The CBI on the other hand began questioning Rhea Chakraborty’s parents for the first time in connection with Rajput’s death since 1st September.
Her father Indrajeet Chakraborty and mother Sandhya were spotted at the DRDO guest house in suburban Kalina, where the CBI probe team resides, around 11 am and allowed to leave in the evening after over eight hours of probing.
