The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a massive following in the world, with the Indian audience also being one of those huge fans. Marvel movies have always done well in India, and the euphoria surrounding the release of every one of these superhero films in India is stupendous, on par with local releases.
Given that any Hollywood film would release a day later in India, or sometimes, a week later, it’s always a bummer for Indian audiences when it comes to releases. However, considering the buzz and enthusiasm surrounding the release of Thor, the makers of the film have decided on an interesting release strategy for the movie in India. Thor will be playing continuously for 96 hours, for 4 days in a row, starting 7th July. The movie will run across select theatres day and night, for four days – 96 hours continuously, starting at 12:15 AM on July 7th to 23:59 on July 10th.
Thor is directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi, and stars Chris Hemsworth in the titular role, while Natalie Portman plays the leading lady, and Tessa Thompson will be seen in a key role. Christian Bale is making his MCU debut with the film.
