Several Tibetans in various parts of the world supported Indian Army, even though Tibet is a part of China. Majority of them even asked India to help Tibet get its freedom. It is known that Dalai Lama, the head monk of the Tibetan Buddhism faced tough times from Chinese troops in 1959 and is living in Dharamshala, India from the past 6 decades with around 10000 Tibetan monks.
Even though Dalai Lama had to leave his palace in Tibet and live in exile, the peaceful person advised India and China not to go for war. As the situation came up, others might have used the chance to strengthen tiff between India and China which favors freedom for Tibet but Dalai Lama showed the most inspiring move of giving advice to both the Governments to practice peace instead of war.
Dalai Lama said that if war happens, both the countries will lose its strength and momentum which will be a huge problem for the people living in the countries. One should have a golden heart to think about the well being of a country which forced them to flee. It is an honor to have such a person in India.
