For a few days now, a video of YSRCP member Gorantla Madhav has been doing rounds on social media. In this video, Gorantla can be seen in a nude avatar, which has become a political sensation. Gorantla’s fan, Konathala Venkateswara Rao, has filed a complaint against this video in Anantapur’s two-town police station, whose SP, Pakirappa, has responded to the issue today.
The SP said that there’s no proof of the video being an original one and that everyone in the video is real. He said that the number that first posted the video on the I-TDP group had been tracked to be a Vodafone number registered in the UK. The SP said that since the number is an international one, the tracing and tracking process is taking a long time. He said that no one could be sure of the authenticity of the video until the person who first posted this video is caught.
On the other hand, Gorantla Madhav has said that the video has been circulated intentionally by his haters, who want to defame him. Gorantla said that he would be filing a defamation case against the culprit, once the culprit is found.
