Andhra Pradesh politics turned out as nothing but business deals after the state bifurcated in 2014. It is known that former Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu lobbied 23 MLAs from YSR Congress Party during his reign and was settled with 23 MLAs in the 2019 elections after a massive turn around occurred due to Jagan’s storm.
Later, Jagan, to prove himself as a potential leader of hope, announced that no TDP MLA will be invited to YSRCP unless he/she resigns their MLA post. Of course, 4 MLAs joined YSRCP unofficially without any resignation.
If we observe, Vallabhaneni Vamshi was suspended from the TDP and he has no objection to join the YSRCP. Maddali Giridhar started devoting Jagan and took YCP stand without any worries.
The problem comes with other leaders such as Karanam Balaram and recent addition to the bunch Vasupalli Ganesh. If we observe there is a common phenomenon these two leaders followed before joining the ruling party. They sent their sons and relatives into the YCP at first and later made their way to the powerhouse.
Karanam Venkatesh s/o Karanama Balaram and Vasupalli’s Ganesh Kumar’s two sons joined YSRCP much before their daddies.
Now, it seems Ganta Srinivas Rao will follow the same route to reach the YSRCP. It is being rumored that Ganta’s son along with his father’s followers will join the YSR Congress Party tomorrow to give his father some time and proper idea of the situations to join the party.
Many reports floated out that the arrangements for this meeting were done in Amravati already. On the other side of the game, what is running in CBN’s mind? Will he pull something out of his sleeve against the run of play?
