Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her businessman husband Anand Ahuja welcomed their first child today. The adorable couple, who are now proud parents, gave birth to a baby boy.
The statement from the duo read, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning,, but we know our lives are forever changed.”
For the unversed, Sonam announced her pregnancy in March this year. She tied the knot with Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018, in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam Kapoor will feature in her upcoming film Blind, which is directed by Shome Makhija. Starring Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in the key roles, the movie is expected to hit the screens later this year.
