Siddharth, who has been in acting career for over 20 years has good following among the audience. He is a prominent actor among both Telugu and Tamil film industry. His performance in few films at Bollywood like Rang De Basanti is very much applauded.
We already knew that he worked as an assistant director for Mani Ratnam and turned an actor with ‘Boys’ in the direction of Shankar.
Recently in an event, Siddharth broke down with tears after seeing a women. He was deeply emotional seeing the lady and the reason was explained later.
Sujatha, the lady on stage is the wife of late screen writer Sujatha Rangarajan. She said she asked her husband to cast Siddharth for Boys movie. Her husband denied as Siddharth is looking to become a director. However, she recommended him to Shankar. Though, Siddharth was quite not interested, Mani Ratnam pushed him to make it a try and we finally got to see him as a lead actor in the movie.
Siddharth said that, had Sujatha not recommended him to Shankar, his life could have taken a very different path. Hence, he was deeply emotional when he saw her on stage.
