Earlier, there were speculations that Shruti Hassan will be playing an action-oriented role in Salaar, which has Prabhas in the lead role. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Shruti has confirmed that there will be no action episodes for her in Salaar.
“I coincidentally happened to have learned mixed martial arts while filming for Salaar. This is when rumors surfaced that I am performing action stunts in the film. But that isn’t the case. I was learning mixed martial arts for my physical fitness. I wasn’t doing it for Salaar,” she said.
Shruti says working on Salaar has been a delightful experience for her personally and she really loves working with Prashant Neel and Prabhas.
It is heard that Shruti plays an investigative journalist in the Prabhas starrer, which is billed to be a high-octane actioner.
