Sharwanand and Samantha have teamed up for the first time in their careers for the film Jaanu which is a remake to Tamil classic 96 which starred Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in lead roles. Jaanu has been carrying decent expectations from day one. Though many are of opinion that one should not touch classics. We have to wait and see how this move from Dil Raju pay off.
Jaanu which is releasing tomorrow has been getting good amount of theaters in Nizam and AP. Though Sankranthi biggies Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo hold decent amount of theaters, Dil Raju managed to get Jaanu good release.
Around 85-90 theaters from Hyderabad are allocated for this movie and remaining Nizam area collectively gives 85-90 theaters which makes the total to around 175 theaters which is very decent.
In Andhra Pradesh too, the movie is releasing in over 300 theaters which is very good considering the genre of the movie and buzz around it. Overall around 450-500 theaters will screen Jaanu on its first day. We have to wait and see whether Dil Raju’s daring move will pay off or not.
