Kantara has grossed over Rs 47 crores at the Hindi box office which is marginally higher than KGF, which had collected a tickle over Rs 40 crores there.
Kantara is set to enter the Rs 50 crores club in its third weekend and this is a stunning achievement for a small Kannada film that no one even heard of before its release.
In another interesting development, Kantara has beaten the mighty KGF 2’s record in the home Kannada market. The film is going bonkers at the box office and everyone involved are laughing their way to the bank.
