Sarigama Cinemas, a pioneer in Overseas film distribution, has been bagging several big-budget films lately.
The distribution company presented pan-India films like SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Yash starrer KGF-2 and VD’s Liger in the US and delivered the highest caliber of flicks and entertainment to overseas audiences.
The latest we hear is that Sarigama Cinemas has now come forward to re-release Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa on the occasion of the actor’s birthday in the United States.
Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri was re-released by fans associations in the US recently and created a storm on the big screens. It collected $15,598 from 18 locations in the USA and A$3,733 from 2 locations in Australia.
Now, Sarigama Cinemas is planning to give Jalsa a bigger release than Pokiri and make sure that the audience will have a smooth theatrical experience. Known for its fantastic marketing strategies, the firm has now locked 30 screens for the release of Jalsa. Going by the reports, they are planning to add more screens by the time of the release on September 1st.
Besides Jalsa, Sarigama Cinemas has also acquired the distribution rights of Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited Ponniyin Selvan: I, which is set to release on September 30.
