South siren Samantha, changing her name on Instagram and Twitter, from Samantha Akkineni to just ‘S’ has left many puzzled. No one had a clue why the actress dropped her surname.
Be it the surname issue or The Family Man controversy, the actress has remained tight-lipped on these events that were surrounding her lately.
In her recent interview with Anupama Chopra, the Eega actress has opened up on the same and said, “I will respond to any controversy or a troll only when I want to talk about it, but not when people ask me.”
About dropping her surname on social media, Samantha said, “I don’t want to react to any of those things. I don’t like conflicts. Like how anyone is entitled to their own opinion of things, even I’m entitled to mine.”
The star actress has also mentioned that she will take a break for some time as she has been continuously working for 11 years.
On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam and Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
