Bollywood actor Salman Khan turned 55 today. He cut a cake at midnight in a low key affair with the paparazzi and stars from his close-knit circle outside his Panvel farmhouse. Salman Khan donned a light blue shirt paired with blue jeans. He posed in style without a mask for shutterbugs and media people during the cake cutting ceremony.
Apparently, he was little reluctant in taking part of the merriments. “I’m not celebrating my birthday this year, it’s just me and my family. I didn’t plan anything because this year was terrible for many.” I hope everything gets back to normal next year”, he stated to the media.
When quizzed about Radhe’s release, the superstar said, “If things look good by Eid, that’s when the film will be released”. He further added saying that it wouldn’t be acceptable for anyone if covid-19 spreads in theatres.
His father Salim Khan, sister Alvira Agnihotri, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, comedian Sunil Grover and choreographer Mudassar Khan among others were present.
Every year, Salman Khan’s fans queue up outside his residence, Galaxy apartment to catch a glimpse of the actor. But this year, owing to the pandemic situation he didn’t go there and he left a note for fans to not form a crowd at his house and rather be safe while wearing mask and maintaining social distancing.
