YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju once again held a press meet today, to speak about a few points pertaining to the current scenario in Andhra Pradesh, especially the issue regarding the 3 Capitals.
When asked about the statement he made on 13 Capitals for the state, RRR said that what he really meant while saying the statement was that the Capital of the state cannot change with changing governments. He said that there has to be only capital for the state, and that it should not be changed according to the new government’s whims and fancies.
RRR also asserted that the CM should make sure that members of the YSRCP are put in check, especially with regards to the statements they make. He said that whatever these leaders say impact the state, and that the statements of these YSRCP leaders could also destroy AP’s reputation.
RRR also questioned how the government plans to serve justice to the farmers of Amaravati when it is still fixated upon 3 Capitals. He said that a total of at least Rs. 80,000 crores is required to serve justice to these farmers, and that amount is not available with the AP government right now. He also posed the same question to all those who have been saying that they will make sure that justice is served to the farmers of Amaravati.
Furthermore, RRR said that everyone should respect the judiciary, especially the High Court and the orders that it makes because it is also a part of the constitution. He said that the people wouldn’t respect the government if the government did not respect the High Court.
RRR has once again urged the government and the CM to reconsider shifting the capitals, and said that it’s not fair to make so many farmers cry.
