Director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus Rise Roar Revolt (RRR) has wrapped up its shooting part after going on floors in 2018. The film was scheduled to hit the big screens on October 13 this year. However, the reports say RRR may not release in theatres on the announced date as a lot of work is still pending.
The latest update we hear is that the makers of RRR are aiming for Sankranthi release, hoping the festive season could help to attract more footfalls in the theatres. Besides this, the theaters are also expected to function 100% by January. It is heard that DVV Danayya informed the producers of all the Sankranthi biggies that his periodic drama will hit the screens during Sankranthi 2022.
It is a known news that biggies like Acharya, Bheemla Nayak, Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Radhe Shyam are in the Sankranthi race. It remains to be seen will there be any changes in Rajamouli’s plans.
RRR revolves around the fictional bond between two real freedom fighters. While Jr NTR plays Bheem, Ram Character essays the role of Alluri Seetharamaraju.
