The makers of RRR had announced that they are contemplating two release dates for the film. Yesterday, it was announced that 18 March and 28 April are the two release slots for the film.
It is more likely that 28 April will be the final release slot for RRR. If that is the case, Acharya, which is announced for release on 1st April will most certainly not be releasing as per plan.
Rajamouli will simply not allow Acharya, which also features Ram Charan in a central role to release ahead of RRR as it will take away the excitement factor.
Moreover, Acharya will be benefited if it releases after RRR as Ram Charan’s market will grow multifolds after the Rajamouli directorial. This will only help the box office prospects of Acharya.
So, in all likelihood, Acharya will be releasing several weeks after RRR and it most certainly won’t be releasing on 1st April.
