Telugu Desam Party, which was established by senior NTR as a reply to the then Congress government which ignored the voice of Telugu people, is now struggling to gain confidence of the voters. On one side the party which worked with BJP, made Narendra Modi furious by blaming the central government for the faults that happened in Andhra Pradesh government regarding Special Status.
On the other hand, during the 2018 elections, TDP joined hands with Congress in Telengana to win against TRS. TDP didn’t keep in mind that this act with make Andhra Pradesh’s voter furious. This act along with few other issues in AP, eventually lead to the downfall of TDP in AP. Now TDP is contesting against Congress in Huzurnagar elections which will give an advantage to TRS.
When a politician shifts its sides, people will consider him/her unstable and each of the jump will cost the politician to lose considerable votes. But when TDP is moving sides between the states and between the parties, it would eventually degrade the confidence o voters on the party. TDP’s moves are in the advantage of TRS and YSRC!
