It is known that the Telangana movement was quite successful due to the student power. Even though TRS started the Telangana movement, the main power came from the students’ unions who created the required tension for the central government to act on. Professor Kondandaram played a vital role in triggering the students’ unions.
Now, Revanth Reddy who was framing the strategy to attack TRS government from Congress side, is reusing the same student power. Revanth Reddy questioned TRS on the “One job per home” promise which KCR did during the Telangana movement. He stated that the youngsters in Telangana are being neglected and this is raising the unemployment levels in the state. If Telangana government provides good support to the students, they can build the confidence required to crack the job interviews, is Revanth’s version.
Students were now showing priority towards Revanth Reddy and he is having good following in the youngsters. If Revanth uses this power correctly, he has good chance of taking an edge over the TRS government.
