It is known that the Congress party has been voted to power in Telangan as the party has 64 MLA seats on its side and the only thing due now is the party picking its chief minister candidate.
Congress party wrapped up the CLPC meeting in Hyderabad a few minutes ago and the AICC leaders are now deciding on whom to keep as the chief minister of the state.
But there are firm reports that the Congress party has picked Revanth Reddy as the chief minister candidate and the high command is also in approval of the same.
Revanth could be sworn in as the chief minister of the state in the evening today. The official update on the same is awaited for now though. Congress is taking the final call in coordination with the high command.
