Even though Revanth Reddy is against Uttam Padmavathi as the candidate for Huzur Nagar, the Congress party still went ahead with the decision, as several senior leaders of the party are in support of her.
But on the other side, the Congress is also not willing to forgo a strong leader like Revanth Reddy. So, the reports are rife that the high command is all set to announce him as the new TPCC Chief, to please the firebrand leader.
As Revanth shares a strong rivalry with Telangana Chief Minister KCR and he never steps back from going against him, the Congress party is considering him as the right option for the post. The official announcement regarding the same, is expected to be out soon.

On the other side, Revanth Reddy also maintained mum even after Padmavathi was announced as Huzur Nagar candidate, thus indicating that he is going to stay back in Congress. Adding to it, in a Panchayat level meeting in Turkapally today, the Malkajgiri MP announced that he is going to take up Padayatra soon and meet the people in every village and address their problems.
Is this an indirect indication that Revanth Reddy is going to be the face of Telangana Congress and thus occupy the top chair if given a chance? In that case, how far the senior leaders of the party are going to let it happen? Let’s see.
