Yesterday, Twitter has suspended nearly 400 accounts of Janasena supporters, which has been creating a huge sensation on the internet. The social media giant cited violations of its policies and guidelines i.e. ‘platform violation and spam’.
The registered email IDs associated with the suspended accounts have received emails citing ‘Platform violation and spam’ and content that goes against Twitter’s guidelines.
As part of account suspension, Janasena party’s popular account Shatagni has been suspended. This has become the biggest shock to Janasainik’s as this account had become the almost official voice of Pawan Kalyan and Janasena.

But, what are the exact reasons why Twitter has suspended Janasena accounts?
It all started with the #SaveNallamala campaign on Twitter. Janasainik’s tweeted on this campaign aggressively, which made to lose some accounts due to spamming content, platform violation.
It may be noted here that Twitter had recently announced a security check to verify a mobile number for an account. Of late, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey account was hacked by a hacking group called the Chuckle Squad that has also hacked some prominent YouTube accounts.
This made Twitter to introduce mobile number verification and made it compulsory to maintain a Twitter account.
This is one of the major reasons for the account suspension of Janasena Pages on Twitter. So, as Twitter made its rules more strict, some accounts of Janasena were suspended.
Abusive comments, spam content, and platform violation are other reasons for remaining accounts suspension.
As per Twitter’s policy, if anyone tries to ‘influence conversations through the use of multiple accounts or fake accounts can attract a suspension.’ This is another reason for losing the accounts of Janasena.
