Shifting of the business from Andhra Pradesh by Adani and Reliance groups turned into a shock for the people of the state. Adani Group decided to invest 70000 Crores on Data Centers and Reliance came up with 15000 Crores worth of electronics business, during the Chandra Babu Naidu’s time.
“All of a sudden, why did these companies decide to move out of AP?” is a question to analyze. The state of Andhra Pradesh is in a tough situation in this decade with main focus on the capital city construction and improvisation. The money needed for these operations were not sufficient but the TDP government managed to utilize the available resources to bring in the map of the capital city. Initial construction started and everything was going on the way. TDP not supporting Special Status to AP is definitely the main fault but the focus and vision of TDP on Amaravathi, made industrialists positively look towards the progress of the state.
Soon after YSRC came into power, ambiguity raised on the thoughts of shifting few departments from the capital city and destruction of few already built projects. Few media sources mentioned that YSRC is aiming to brand the party in all ways by painting the walls of government buildings with YSRC colors, initiating new schemes with YSR tag, etc.
BJP politician Sunil Deodhar mentioned that the income generated by AP is not sufficient to gives the salaries to the government employees in the state. The money which is being spent on the scheme is being fetched through loans and this will further increase the burden on the state. Sunil Deodhar suggested YSRC to earn the money and spend it to the people in the form of schemes rather than taking it as a loan paying heavy interests and promoting the YSRC party in the form of schemes. He mentioned that these aspects of YSRC made the two giant companies to move out of AP.
Due to the shifting of Adani Group and Reliance from Andhra Pradesh, the income as well as the job opportunities were at loss for AP.
