Sankranthi is said to be the best time to hit the box office. With the closure of big screens for a long time due to the pandemic, many big and small films in Tollywood are now eyeing for the Sankranthi release hoping that the audience will throng to the theatres.
The latest news is that Ram Pothineni’s RED, which has gained a lot of buzz and anticipation already, has locked the release date for Sankranthi and the theatrical trailer will be out on December 24.
The Ismart actor took to his Twitter and shared a poster which confirms the above news. Apparently, this will be the third film of the actor which is getting a Sankranthi release. Earlier, his debut film, Devadas, and Maska were released for Sankranthi and turned out to be blockbusters.
Not less than a month for the release, the team will kickstart the promotions to grab the attention of the audience. Only time can tell will the audience steps into the theatres or not.
RED is directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore. Nivetha Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma, and Amritha Aiyer play female leads.
