The mighty RRR is out in theatres now. The magnum opus action drama hit the silver screens on the 25th of March and it opened to largely positive reviews. The film is now registering record breaking revenues in the domestic and international market alike.
Coming to the topic, soon after RRR was announced with Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, the vast majority of the Telugu audience opined that NTR would shine bright in his role and he would be the better of the two performers. But that isn’t the case now.
Ram Charan is walking away with the bigger piece of the cake, thanks to his spotless performance in the film.
Not just the South Indian audience, even the Northern audience are said to be lapping up Charan’s portrayal of Seetharama Raju.
There is no denying NTR’s work but Charan bagged the multi-layered role of Alluri Seetharama Raju and he excelled at it. In accordance, he has delivered a towering performance in the film.
Especially, the Seetharama Raju getup suited him so very well. The audience are going berserk watching him in Rama Raju avatar in the film. The social media buzz is also strong, saying RRR essentially revolves around Rama Raju character played by Charan.
While the Telugu audience were of the opinion that NTR might come out as the better performer, Charan has hit it out of the park after the film’s release.
