Rajamouli: Chiranjeevi took humiliations for Tollywood

Speaking at the pre-release event of RRR the other day, Rajamouli wholeheartedly thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi for his contribution to Telugu cinema.

“When the AP government imposed a new G.O with unforeseen ticket pricing slabs, we knew we were in trouble. This is when Chiranjeevi came forward and navigated the situation. Many people called him names in the process. But he took all the humiliation just for the sake of the industry. He is a real megastar.” Rajamouli said.

Adding further, Rajamouli said, “Without Chiranjeevi garu’s support that day, we don’t know what might have happened. He doesn’t like the tag ‘Industry pedda’ but he really is a ‘Pedda dikku’ for all of us.”
