Star badminton player PV Sindhu, along with her parents, met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Vijayawada today. The young CM congratulated and felicitated her and also wished to achieve more successes in the future.
In a closed door discussion with the young athlete and her family, Jagan discussed about encouraging sports in Andhra Pradesh, for which Sindhu has proposed to set up a badminton academy. Adding to it, she also requested land for the construction of one such academy with international standards, for which Jagan responded positively. The AP CM assured to allot five acres of land in Vizag.

Even in TDP’s regime, Pullela Gopichand was allotted land, in which several star athletes like Sindhu were trained and came out successful. Nara Lokesh tried to highlight the same , after PV Sindhu won gold medal in the World Badminton Championship recently.
Now Jagan planning to allot land to Sindhu, is being received well by the YSRCP activists, who are now promoting it all over the social media, saying that the YSRCP Chief is not less than any other CMs in the past.
