Energetic Star Ram Pothineni remains committed to collaborating with director Puri Jagannadh, despite the latter’s recent flop with “Liger.” The duo is set to work on the sequel to their super hit film, “iSmart Shankar.” Titled “Double iSmart,” the script for the sequel is currently Puri Jagannadh’s main focus.
Shooting is expected to commence in July and wrap up by the end of the year. “Double iSmart” is slated for a pre-summer theatrical release in 2024, amidst a crowded lineup of films. Ram is actively involved in the script’s development, taking personal care to ensure its success.
Puri Jagannadh, aware of the need for a comeback, is approaching the project with extra caution. He will produce the film himself, aiming for a pan-Indian release.
Meanwhile, Ram is nearing completion of shooting for Boyapati Srinu’s action entertainer, scheduled for release on September 15th. With high hopes for both projects, Ram is determined to make “Double iSmart” a remarkable sequel that captivates audiences once again.
