Sye Raa is not a film that only mega fans are waiting, but every movie lover is also keen to catch up the film on the first day, for the kind of hugeness the film has. Generally, when such huge movies hit the theaters, the makers of other small movies plan the releases of their films in such a manner that they would not have the effect of the big films. The same situation was witnessed during Baahubali and Saaho movie releases. But it seems, the situation is entirely different with Sye Raa.
Gopi Chand’s Chanakya is all set to hit the theaters on the 5th of this month, which is just the 3rd day of the Sye Raa’s release. Revealing about the reason behind such bold decision, Gopi Chand said, “Chanakya’s release date has been decided long back. After Sye Raa release date, we are left with no other choice, other than committing to the prefixed date, as we are unwilling to lose the advantage of the festival.

But the reports are rife that a producer and a close associate of mega family is threatening the theatre owners, not to give theaters for Chanakya. As Sye Raa is a huge film, the makers are keen to pull all the festival advantage towards the film and thus make it a winner at the box office.
So, it should be seen whether Chanakya decides to change the release date in the last minute or continue with the same.
