Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara starrer Gold, which was set to hit the screens on September 8, has now been postponed by a week.
Director Alphonse Puthren today announced the news on social media with a post and guaranteed fans that will make up for the delay by delivering a quality movie.
“Due to work delay on our side, “Gold” will be releasing one week after Onam. Please forgive us for the delay caused. Hoping to compensate this delay through our work when Gold releases,” the director wrote on Twitter.
The romantic comedy film revolves around the events that reveal after a mobile shop owner buys a new car. Produced by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen, Gold also stars Roshan Mathew, Ajmal Ameer, Krishna Sankar, Deepti Sati, and Baburaj, among others.
