Story:
Ramu (Devansh Nama) and Lachu (Anirudh Nama) are brothers who live in a small village along with their Mom (Anasuya Bharadwaj). They both dream of boarding a flight someday while Manu (Sangeet Shobhan) and Abhitha (Saanvee Megghana) are a young couple who elope from their village and need to board a flight to Dubai to start a new life. How will their 4 lives cross paths with each other and what will happen to their dreams? Needs to be seen in the film.
What about on-screen performances?
Sangeet Shobhan does an excellent job as Mani. He once again impresses with his comic timing in a few scenes and he is fair in the emotional scenes as well.
Saanvee Megghana looks adorable and does a good job as Abhitha, Mani’s love interest.
Devansh Nama & Anirudh Nama are pretty decent as the 2 kids who dream of flying in a plane.
Anasuya Bharadwaj once again proves that she is here to stay and gives out yet another superb act as Saantha.
Vennela Kishore as the school teacher is not at his best with his timing. His scenes do not have the spark that they used to be always.
Abhay Bethiganti is neat as the hero’s friend while Goparaju Ramana leaves a mark as the hero’s father.
Ravi Varma, Kalpalatha, Surabhi Prabhavathi, and others are fine in their parts.
What about off-screen talents?
The story by Santosh Kata isn’t novel and is very predictable. There are two different plots discussed in the film, one of the kids and the other being a young love story. While the kids’ story looks very similar to the recent film ‘Vimanam’, the love story reminds us of films like ‘Dorasani’ & ‘Uppena’.
The screenplay too is not up to the mark. There are many repetitive scenes that could have been reduced. Also, there was scope for more engaging drama & more fun. A few scenes look too routine, like the entire love track & the farmer’s suicide episode. Even the characterizations are pretty ordinary.
Director Santosh Kata does a passable job with his presentation. Had he taken a little more care with the writing and added a few more interesting & funny scenes, this film would have been a decent watch.
The songs by Anup Rubens are neat. A couple of songs are good to hear while his background score needed to be better.
The camera work by Jagadeesh Cheekati is commendable. He captures the village atmosphere perfectly with good lighting.
The edit by Amar Reddy Kudumula should have been a lot more crisper.
The production values by Abhishek Pictures are neat.
