The massive success of Baahubali franchise has made Prabhas a global icon. Although he has been selective about his films and signing limited projects, the Rebel star is way ahead of other actors in India. When it comes to remuneration, he even suppressed the Khans and Akshay Kumar, who still churn out maximum releases.
As per reports, Prabhas is said to be charging never before remuneration for his upcoming films. His remuneration for ‘Adipurush’ is close to 150 crores, which is more than what Salman Khan made for ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and what Akshay Kumar charged for ‘Bell Bottom’.
It is heard that Salman Khan had charged Rs 100 crore for Sultan, along with taking a share of 50 percent from profits, while Akshay Kumar charged Rs 135 crore for Bell Bottom.
Seems like the filmmakers are not hesitating to spend a hefty amount on Prabhas, as he is the most dependable and popular actor in the industry, who can please all kinds of audiences across the world.
