Venkatesh-Varun starrer F2 – Fun and Frustration has joined the list of films that are being remade in Hindi. Boney Kapoor will be jointly producing the film in Hindi with Telugu producer Dil Raju who bankrolled F2 in Telugu.
Furthermore, it is heard that Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor came to a mutual understanding that, Dil Raju will remake some of the movies, which are released under Boney Kapoor’s banner in Hindi. Likewise, Boney Kapoor will remake Dil Raju’s movie that will be released in his banner.
The latest update we heard is that dusky beauty Pooja Hegde is in talks to reprise the role of Mehreen from the original film.
It is known that the role of Mehreen in F2, named ‘Honey’ became an instant hit and stole the hearts of the audience with her mischievous behavior. Now, Pooja Hegde will become Bollywood’s Honey with his remake.
The buzz in the tinsel town is that Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor are making the artists to sign combinedly for movies in their banner. It may be recalled here that Pooja Hegde is being considering reprising the role of Taapsee Pannu in Pink remake, which will be jointly produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju.
Director Anees Bazmee, who is popular for directing films like Welcome and Singh Is Kinng, will direct the Hindi remake. Boney Kapoor’s son, Arjun Kapoor, will play the role of Varun Tej in the remake.
