Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Perni Nani today said that apart from remunerations, films with a budget of over Rs 100 crore are being given the opportunity to apply for hiked ticket rates.
The Minister said that the makers of RRR have applied to increase the ticket rates. The committee will look into the matter and make a decision. It has been revealed that ticket prices could go up for the first 10 days. He said the government would take the decision rather than burden the people. The Minister also added that tenders have been finalized for the online ticketing process and the policy would come into effect soon.
A few days ago, Rajamouli and producer Danayya met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and requested that ‘RRR’ be given a chance to increase ticket prices.
