It is known that TDP’s Galla Jayadev was issued orders to return 253 acres land which is said to be allotted to Galla’s Amara Raja Infratech Limited by the TDP government for development and industrialization purposes.
So far, Jayadev didn’t respond on this issue but the news is out that he is moving to the high court with adequate proofs to save that vast land area. It is being said that he has strong proof to show the court that the specified land belongs to Amara Raja group for decades.
TDP sources say that his lawyer is also well equipped to argue that this comes under nothing but personal vendetta from the YSRCP government on the TDP leaders. Jayadev who has been in the industrial sector over many years is quite confident that he can regain his authority on those lands.
In 2008, during the YSR regime, the APICC had sanctioned 483.27 acres to the company at Bangarupalem, Nunegundlapally, Kothapalli villages by declaring it as the special economic zone that can be used for the development of the state and creating employment for thousands of AP citizens.
As Jayadev failed to keep his promise of bringing up investments up to Rs 2,100 crore & creating employment for 20,000 people, the YSRCP government decided to take back those lands. Now, it is unclear that the vacant and unused land area that the YCP government is alleging is the same economic zone created by YSR or not and Jayadev is looking to utilize this uncertainty as his main weapon in the high court.
